Don’t miss the Early Bird!

Early Bird seats for the 1 day conference and 2 day conference and workshop passes are limited so click here to save yourself as much as £100 on the 2 day pass!

As well as the conference the 2 day pass allows you to choose 2 workshops, one from the morning sessions and one from the afternoon.

As there are only a limited number of workshop spaces this is a fantastic deal and a chance to make the most of the event. These smaller workshops seat 30 people each and therefore is a real opportunity to learn from the best in Web Design in a more intimate and relaxed setting.

Click here to view the 8 workshops and make your choice! It may be a difficult one!

FOWD Registration is now open!

After the success of London’s Future of Web Design in April we are pleased to announce that we are bringing FOWD accross the pond to the Big Apple!

The Future of Web Design is all about getting together leading practitioners and thinkers in the design field to talk about trends, directions and exciting new happenings in the medium. This isn’t just another web event, but one that’s dedicated to the creativity in the profession, bringing back the ‘design’ and drawing together the diverse fields that doing ‘web design’ now represents.

The FOWD will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center which boasts state of the art facilities and amazing views of the Hudson river.

The date for your diaries is the 7th and 8th November 2007.

We have a limited number of Early Bird discounted tickets available for just $145 for the conference and $495 for the conference and workshop! These will go fast so don’t miss out. You can get these here.

Meet the FOWD conference chair

Designer and events aficionado Bryan Veloso is our wonderful conference chair for this event. He’ll be using his knowledge of the design industry, creativity and drive to make this FOWD the best yet!

bryan-veloso.jpg

For those of you who don’t know, Bryan, formerly of Facebook and Automattic, with a B.A. in entrepreneurship, is one-half of the a pseudo “multi-industry conglomerate”, Revyver (pronounced re-vye-ver), set to conquer the world with eggrolls and Japanese pop music. Revyver has done work for Flock, the popular social networking blog Mashable and CoffeeCup Software and is also known for its events, such as the annual Avalonstar Bowling Extravaganza held in Austin, Texas. Bryan’s an accomplished designer who has an extreme passion for the sites he builds and the users he builds them for.

When he isn’t being swamped by email, poked by Photoshop and bothered by Twitter, he’s blogging on his personal playground, Avalonstar. He’d write books too, but found out that he’s not capable of writing that much. Bryan enjoys spending time with his fiance, Jenni (the other half of Revyver), his 4 LOLcats and his 2005 Mazda RX-8. He enjoys everything from breaking mechanical goods, to eating chicken fried rice and dancing the night away on one of his arcade favorites, “Dance Dance Revolution”!

He will be posting some info on the speakers and topic ideas over the next few months so make sure you subcribe to the feed! Get involved and tell us what you think by posting your comments or emailing us here at Carson Systems – jo at carsonsystems dot com
