New Workshop Speaker

I am happy to announce that we have a fantastic speaker lined up for the workshop ‘Unleashing the power of Art Direction in Web Design’.

Miguel Ripoll, is the founder, CEO and Creative Director of Cesser Digital. An award winning designer, writer, lecturer and digital artist, Miguel’s interactive work has been exhibited in a dozen major art museums.

The ever popular Miguel will be joining us once again to share his expertise in this hands on workshop. Miguel will discuss Typography as the key element to web design, layered approaches, content as a design element and much more. His main goal is to give you something you can actually take away and *use* in your daily work.

10 more FOWD London Student Passes released

Happy New Year!

After an extended Christmas break it is back to business as we gear up for FOWD London in April/May 2009.

Due to popular demand, I have released 10 more student passes at just £45 each. Like i say – there are only 10 of these so you will need to act fast for your chance to secure a ticket.

Over the Christmas period, all passes have proven very popular and are selling pretty quickly. There are only 2 Conference and Workshop passes available at £395! When these sell out, the price will be rising. Click here to find out about some of the fab workshops we have on offer.

There are also a limited number of conference passes available at just £195! Again – these prices will be rising as soon they have sold out – so you’d better get in quickly to take advantage of the limited prices!

FOWD London 09 Launches!

No sooner has the dust settled after FOWD New York… we are now gearing up for FOWD London 09! It’s almost Christmas so why not reward yourself with a little present in the shape of a ticket to FOWD

You can’t afford to miss out on this: We’ve released 20 Workshop passes at £195 which means you’re getting a Conference pass totally FREE! If you can’t quite stretch to a workshop ticket, you can join us at the conference for just £95…. although there will only be 100 of these available. And if you’re lucky enough to be a student, we are releasing 20 student conference passes at £45!

We will keep releasing these tickets but they will increase in price each time, until they get to the full price… so be quick to get yours here!

The event kicks off on the 30th April at Kensington Town Hall for a day packed with amazing speakers all prepared to feed your imagination. Some of the names on the bill so far include, Jim Coudal, Molly Holzschlag, Mark Boulton and Folkert Gorter.

This will be followed by a day of workshops on the 1st May at the Hilton London Olympia Hotel. You can choose from 2 workshops, one in the morning and one in the afternoon – the perfect opportunity to get some tips in an intimate classroom environment.

Five days to FOWD NYC

With just five days to go until FOWD NYC officially arrives, there is still a chance to get your hands on some conference tickets. There aren’t many left so you’ll have to be quick to guarantee a seat but it’s definitely worth a shot… future of web design.

There are lots of cool things on offer during the day… and the wrap party sounds awesome! Especially with the Phizzpop design challenge and plenty of food and drink to go around all courtesy of Microsoft… It’s really not to be missed!

As a reminder for those of you lucky people who already have your tickets – our workshops are taking place at the Radisson Martinique on the 3rd and the conference will be taking place at the Roseland Ballroom on the 4th. Registration opens at 8am on both days with the events kicking off at 9am.

FOWD Workshops SOLD OUT!

Yes, unfortunately it is true – once again our workshops have sold out very quickly this year!

But fear not – you can still come to the conference on the 4th… There will still be tons of great speakers who will be offering up their expertise with hands on advice.

And don’t forget about the party which will be taking place at the Edison Ballroom. It’s going to be an amazing evening with coverage of the election and an open bar.. courtesy of the guys at Microsoft.

FOWD NYC is also almost here!

The Carsonified team have just arrived back from an awesome week at FOWA London which took place at Excel London. It was a pretty crazy week of late nights and parties, which was topped off by a live diggnation on Friday! Thanks to all those who came along and joined in the fun – it really was a great week. We now have a full list of workshop speakers with some exciting new additions. Carsonifed’s very own fabulous designer Mike Kus will be giving ‘Professional Photoshop tips for designers’ . Steve Smith from Orderlist will be discussing ‘The exciting new capabilities of HTML 5 and CSS 3. The PhizzPop Design Challenge by Microsoft is back for its second year, and FOWD are joining forces to deliver a top design competition you won’t want to miss. PhizzPop is a national interactive design competition with participation from top interactive agencies.  The kickoff event of the national tour is the Official Future of Web Design Party on November 4.
 
Join us at 8 p.m. at the Edison Ballroom(240 W. 47th Street, NYC), just a few blocks away, to watch some of New York’s hippest interactive agencies show off their work in a competition of design, development and creativity … and for a drink (or two).
 
We will also have some of our speakers on the panel of judges so please register now for this see-be-seen party that you won’t want to miss!  And don’t worry, we’re broadcasting election coverage to keep you up to date on the latest results.
